Our paternoster rig is a versatile fishing set up and is able to be used in multiple situations and conditions. From fishing from the beach and casting into the surf, to dropping down from a boat or jetty, the Paternoster rig has been a popular and successful option for many years.
The twisted dropper loops we feature on our Paternoster serve two purposes. The first being that they hold the hook away from your mainline helping to eliminate tangles. The second, is that the loop allows the hook to easily be taken off allowing you to simply and quickly swap hook size as needed.
Our fish finder rig features:

The fish finder rig is a must have in your arsenal. It has proved itself deadly in multiple fishing situations and is a great all rounder. It can easily be cast from the riverbank, jetty, boat, beach or rocks.
The fish finder rig uses a sinker slide, which allows the bait to move freely without resistance from the sinker, enabling the fish to take the bait into its mouth without being aware of the weight of the sinker. At times, this feature can enable the fish to hook itself eliminating the need to strike.
To set up the fish finder rig, first thread the sinker slide onto your main line followed by the lumo bead, which is used for knot protection and visual attraction, and then tie the swivel to your mainline.
Next, clip on your sinker, add some bait and cast it out. It's that simple!
Our one up one down rig features:
- 2 x size hooks - size 6 circle and size 6 baitkeeper
- Black magic mono
- Top dropper loop and lower hook length to allow fishing on and up off the bottom at the same time!

Our One Up One Down rig brings the best of both worlds. Our Up Down rig is essentially a paternoster / fish finder hybrid. This rig allows you to fish one bait up and off the bottom with a twisted dropper loop, and also allows you to fish a bait on the bottom using the lower hook length. It is deadly in estuarine and surf systems and works well on species including Flathead, Whiting, Bream, Australian Salmon, Tailor, Mulloway etc.
